My great sat nav Tom Tom one V3

By Bill Cool

I just wanted to jot down a few lines to let everyone know what I think of my sat nav.

The following reasons are why I love my TomTom so very much and why you should love yours too.

1. I travel for work and therefore it saves me loads of time as I am always going to new areas that I have absolutely not clue as to how I find my way around. I really do not know how I coped with out it before when I relied on old fashioned maps in order to find my way around.

2. It really annoys my mother inlaw. She doesn?t seem to understand how it works and gets increasingly irate as it talks to her. This is hilarious to listen to as she just does not seem able to cope with it at all.

3. The voice of my TomTom is nice and relaxing.I have called the nice Irish lady who talks to me Erica. She is lovely and we get along very well together. We have not fallen out as yet. Which is much better than when my wife gives directions

4. I can choose a range of avoiding, charges, tolls or congestion hotspots buy guiding me along the shortest root. Well all the time keeping me on track by telling me if I have gone the wrong way or made a mistake.

5. The ability to find obscure sites and museums because they are quite often pre-programmed in the system is fantastic. It saves so much effort and encourages me to go to all these places when in the past I may just have not bothered with it at all. So this is a real bonus for me.

6. It gets me to all my children?s sports matches on time. They seem to be all over the place. Almost as thought they deliberately place them in locations that are hard to find and get to. Fortunately the sat navs map lets me get them there with out too much hassle so that all of my weekends are not taken up with their sporting activities.

7. I love the way it is so easy to use that I can quickly reset it all when I am at junctions and so don?t have to keep stopping the car if I want to change where I am going. Its also pretty easy to see the thing in the day or night time. Which is great for me with my dodgy eyesight.

8. I am going on holiday to cornwell next week so I will be able to do away with maps for once and cruise down their in record time I hope.

Thanks for Listening

Bill
