Comcast Double Play - Great Deals To Help You Save

By Abe Michaels

When money is tight, everyone wants to find ways to save. And what's better than just saving money? Getting more for you money while spending less!

And Comcast knows this, thank goodness. They recently rolled out their Double Play packages. Consumers can now choose two of their regular offerings and enjoy some pretty attractive discounts at the same time.

Comcast started, like most cable providers, with only a cable television service. They have since added Internet, digital voice, and a very comprehensive total HD package that pretty much blows their competition out of the water. Even their cable internet service is far superior to any DSL offering out there.

What else could you possibly need? On top of these high quality well priced package plans, there is no long term contract to sign, technicians can be to your house usually within two days (for most services), and they have an incredible maintenance plan for $2. 99 a month which covers all equipment repairs and service calls.

Order the best Comcast Double Play deals and save alot more money.

The big seller is of course their TV and Internet combo. Most areas support both of these services, but check with your customer service rep to be sure. HD is an additional charge, but it's only $9. 99 a month for the box (which gives you the HD picture quality). Special discounts are almost always available, but not usually advertised. These are limited to telephone orders only.

If you are one of the unlucky consumers who got suckered into a long term contract with one of those satellite TV companies, you may want to consider the other options for your Double Play: Internet and digital telephone. (You may also want to do yourself a favor and pay off this other company and sign on with Comcast for better pricing, better service, and better reception.) In any case, try the phone and Internet - you won't be sorry. Just be aware that these two services run on the same cables, so if one goes out, they both go out. Interruption is minimal; in many cases you never even know about it.

Another option would be for folks who have wireless connections on their computers - just sign up for TV and telephone for your Double Play deal. Even thought their voice package is not yet available all over, it's being rolled out constantly into new areas. It's worth the wait, though - the reception is so much better than the regular phone companies can provide!
