We all make mistakes, no one is perfect. But sometimes we are blamed for mistakes that were not of our own making. In such circumstances we are prompted to pass on responsibility for such actions to others. But this shouldn't be the case at ll. We must all take responsibility for our own actions and bear the full brunt of the consequences of such actions.
Sometimes there is the occasional mistakes that carry with them stiff consequences. In such situations it is crucial for us to take responsibility for our mistakes because if we don't we can never learn from them. In part it is unfair for someone to accept responsibility for what someone else did because at the end of it all they are the ones that suffer the outcome of our wrong deeds.
In order to stop blaming other people we must assess situations correctly. Assessing situations incorrectly can lead to a wrong understanding of a problematic situation. But on the other hand if we assess situations in the right way we stand to see clearer and avoid the rather unfortunate circumstance of having to pass on blame to people who clearly don't deserve it. Take a pen and paper and write down everything that had something to do with a problem. If people other than yourself appear to be more blameworthy than you then it was their fault. But if a certain situation accords more blame on you then you must be responsible.
Another thing you can do in order to stop blaming others is asking for someone else's' opinion on a selected matter. In a lot of cases such people normally offer advice that is unbiased. Take the opinions of more than 5 independent people and decide on who is to blame.
Useful self talk is a definite way of sucking the truth out of contentious situation. Truthful self talk is when you are open to yourself about what happened. With this you have to dig deep inside yourself to find the truth that may have eluded you. When this is done exactly like it's supposed to be done you stand to get the truth and the villain worth blaming.
