Garmin Nuvi 760 GPS - The Honest Opinion

Do you sometimes find yourself getting lost, only to realize that you cannot make head or tail of the map you have? If you get lost frequently then the chances are that somebody has already advised you to get your hands on a decent GPS device. Well, that may have in fact been some of the best advice you've ever been given. Even people who don't get lost very often can still benefit from owning a reliable GPS device such as the Garmin Nuvi 760.

Apart from being a huge inconvenience, getting lost in a strange place can also be extremely dangerous under certain circumstances. Of course, with a GPS device one can at least have peace of mind in knowing that you can find your way around relatively easy.

The remarkable thing amount the Garmin Nuvi 760 is that it is stylish and easy to use, irrespective of whether or not you've ever used any form of GPS device. In fact, the 760 is so incredibly stylish that if you mount it on your dashboard it will look really trendy rather than looking out of place. Above all; the 760 has been designed so that anyone can use it, even if you are not technically minded.

When one considers that you only need to type in the address of your destination in order to find out exactly how you should proceed from where you are, one cannot help noticing that you certainly don't need to be some sort are a guru in order to use this device.

While this specific GPS device has numerous features, some of the more noticeable ones include an impressive 4.3 inch color touch screen, hands free calling using Bluetooth wireless technology, and a white backlight with 480 x 272 pixels. Of course it also comes with a number of preloaded city navigators and what's more, it even displays speed limits for many of the highways and roads you drive on.

Of course it's easy to see why this is a very useful feature, considering that the speed limits are not always displayed on the roads and that the police for the most part won't be interested in listening to your excuses. With a Garmin Nuvi 760 in the vehicle you'll no longer need to worry about breaking the speed limit.

Anyone who is considering purchasing one of these devices should also find some of the technical details rather interesting. These include a twelve channel receiver description, MP3 player capability, and an impressive map of North America. Furthermore, it has a remarkable five hour battery life.

As you may already know, the previous model was the 660 but you can be rest assured that the 760 has numerous features over and above those which were included with the previous model. One cannot deny that the 760 is a much better buy, irrespective of the fact that it's slightly more expensive. After all, with so many additional features, one cannot expect otherwise. Furthermore, because this model has no antenna as such, it's also easier to hook up to the cradle.
