How To Know Who Owns ANY Phone Number

By Glen Pearson

Reverse phone number look ups are a wonderful tool that allow you to punch in phone numbers and determine just who the phone's owner is. These handy tools are good for any time when you need to find out details about a number.

There are a number of reasons you might need to use a reverse phone search. You might be getting prank calls, or you might just see a number on your caller id display that's not familiar. Some people even look up phone numbers they find on their spouse's phone when they're suspicious about whether or not their partner is cheating.

It wasn't always easy to get hold of this kind of information. In the past, there as no readily available database available for searching through.

However, this has changed, and the Internet makes it a lot easy to find out information about all numbers. You can find out about cell phone numbers and unlisted numbers, too. Companies have even set up businesses that allow them to compile enormous databases of information on just about every number there is.

They don't charge a lot for access to this information, too. However, there's a great trick that could get you access to some of the information for free.

This is a relatively simple process. Just pull Google up in your favorite web browser, then type the number in, enclosed in quotation marks. Run the search, and see what turns up.

This works because sometimes the phone number may have been published online at one time or another. If the person posted classified ads online or completed a profile for a webpage, Google can find it and tell you about it. Look at what turns up to see what kind of information is available, then do a deeper search.

Of course, if that doesn't work, you can resort to a paid service. It'll give you the full name and address of the person, as well as background details like employment history and address history.

One important tip if you're choosing to do this is to find a company that offers an unlimited number of reverse phone lookups for a flat fee. You can find companies that will charge you only once, but will allow you to perform as many searches as you like, and log in whenever you choose.

Reverse phone searches come in handy under most circumstances, and are a great tool to have in your arsenal.
