Technology Does Not Stand Still, Especially The Cell Phone Technology

By Larry Dobrov

Phone craze

More than a century passed since Mr. Graham made the first phone apparatus. In those days only the most exclusive circles could afford to have one. The primitive carbon transmitter allowed for a peerless speed of communication across great distances. During those days, many thought that it cannot get better than that. Alas! Mobile phones were born. The first cell phones also belonged to the elite circles and many of them were permanently nested inside of cars, but things changed rapidly. The phones were using today weight grams and are dirt cheap in comparison to their predecessors.

The popularity and accessibility turned them into a must have item across all demographics. T.V advertising of the latest ring tone and the greatest reverse cell phone look up are all over the place. Popularity has also reached the developing states which might not even create a landline network at all, but rather a cellular one. The creation of a mobile telephone network (using a series of towers) is actually less expensive.

Public needs to be aware

Its undeniable that cellular phones facilitate communication, but they did spawn some debatable issues. Reverse phone tracing comes to mind. If you were to look up a landline you would only get the postal address of the individual to whom the phone number belongs. However the cell phone tracing goes beyond that. You are now capable of finding out exactly where the person is located. This ability can be hazardous if it falls in the hands of the wrong people.

On the other hand its a handy tool for a responsible parent. These reverse cell phone look ups are not the only concern. Cell phone usage and risks of brain cancer are also a big issue.

Solution

In my opinion, the leaders of our nations should look more closely into the rapidly growing cellular network industrys trends and vote on required legislation if peoples rights and health are being threatened. In all probability this is the only sure way to defend a buyer in the current market.
