Jason Voorhees is back with a vengeance in the remake of Friday the 13th and this famous slasher flick will tantalize your thirst for blood. After witnessing his mother's beheading at Camp Crystal Lake, Jason goes lunatic some thirty years later.
He preys like a serial predator on a group of innocent friends who have come to enjoy a weekend at the beautiful and legendary Camp Crystal Lake. His bloody murderous rampage leaves you hiding under the covers as each unfortunate victim feels his razor sharp machete.
But beauty is only skin deep as the woods begin to take on an eerie tone as Jason's lunatic mind goes crazy on the innocent group and like a serial predator, he picks his prey one by one, as they succumb to his razor sharp machete.
Producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form were challenged in the casting of this movie because they needed thirteen young actors as opposed to the five that were in Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Director Michael Bay and Producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form had a bit of a challenge when it came to the casting of the movie. Quite different from Texas Chainsaw Massacre in that they had only five actors, whereas Friday the 13th would have thirteen.
Derek Mears does a great job playing the role of adult Jason, as does Caleb Guss who plays the young Jason Voorhees. Also applauds goes out to Jared Padalecki for the leading male role, and Amanda Righetti for the leading female role.
The final group of young actors include: Jonathan Sadowski, Danielle Panabaker, Julianna Guill, Aaron Yoo, America Olivo, Van Winkle, Nana Visitor and Richard Burgi as the sheriff.
If you're thirsting for a blood and guts slasher movie this Halloween then Jason delivers in this Friday the 13th revision. It'll keep you on the edge of your seat that's for sure. The producers of this movie will continue to make sequels for years to come.
