It is almost certain that you are not going to find a pay as you go type of plan for a Blackberry and you will most likely have to commit to a contract.

The bottom line on this philosophy is that if you are going to start a new Blackberry or Pre contract, many times you can get a brand new PDA from the carrier for little or nothing on promotional opportunities. You might decide to buy cell phone online replacement units as a spare, since they can be quite costly to replace, once you have signed a contract with a carrier.

When you do decide to purchase something online, whether it is a PDA or a flip-phone, make sure that you are making your transaction through a secure vendor such as Google or PayPal. These vendors offer you security and warranties that will protect you while shopping online. Just do not purchase anything until you are absolutely sure that the phone you are looking at is going to be compatible with the plan you are on or the plan that you are looking to get.

When researching the promotional opportunities, make sure that you are weighing out all of your options, especially if you are worried about being committed to another lengthy contract.
